The Tesla Model 3 follows its predecessors and gets a NHTSA perfect safety rating

The NHTSA (US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) tested the safety of the Tesla Model 3 sedan and, just like the Model S and Model X, the car has received perfect 5-star ratings in every category. Tesla describes safety as, "the most important part of the overall Model 3 design" and with nothing rated below 5-stars in all categories from the NHTSA, which published the results this week, the Model 3 gets an overall safety rating of 5-stars with zero recalls. The side crash rating was broken down into two main categories: the side barrier and side pole ratings.
